Tour Guide / Interpreter / Gift Shop Attendant We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible and outgoing personnel to offer guided tours of the Museum to visitors, especially birthday parties and group tours. As part of this position you need to be able to interpret the railway cars and explain the history to age ranges from 3 to 93. Applicants must be self-motivated, curious and willing to do a variety of tasks, from interpretation and displays, to site maintenance, to cleaning, to working in the gift shop.
Marketing Co-ordinator / Tour Guide We are looking for a dynamic individual to serve as our Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing plan for the Alberta Railway Museum’s summer events. This involves working with traditional and social media to attract visitors and tour groups, such as families, seniors, associations and service clubs, out of school / day cares, bus tours and whatever else your imagination comes up with. Innovation is a key to this position. In addition to bringing the people through the door and putting riders in the seats of trains and the speeder car, you will act as the senior tour guide offering guided tours of the Museum to visitors, and supervising the other tour guides.
