Click on "Directions" in the balloon hovering above the red "A" marker on the map. (You can also click on the "View Larger Map" link immediately below the map to open the same map in its own browser window, then click on the "Directions" link in the balloon there.)
Type your address or current location into the box next to the green circle labelled "A" in the left column, then click on "Get Directions".
Google Maps will then create a route for you to follow to the Museum.
You can print a copy of the map to take with you by clicking on the "Print" button at top right.
NOTE: Google Maps does not always take into account local construction, road closures, etc. so in case you find the suggested route blocked, printing a copy of the map will allow you to find alternate routes easily.
General directions:
From the Manning Freeway (Highway 15):
(The construction of the Anthony Henday Ring Road has made the following directions important because Zaychuk Road has been closed permanently.) Proceed north on Manning Freeway to 18th Street (the Sikh temple, visible to the west of Manning Freeway, has its entrance on 18th Street)
Turn left onto 18th Street and then immediately turn left again onto 195 Avenue.
Proceed to 34th Street and then north to the museum, about 5 km north. On summer weekends when the Museum is open, signs may be placed on the road to guide you.
From downtown Edmonton: Drive north on 97 Street (Highway #28) to Highway #37. Turn right (east) and travel 8 kilometres east to 34 Street, then turn right and go south about 2 km.
From Highway 37: Turn south onto 34th Street. The museum is 2 km south.
