Phil continued getting the new, old radial arm saw set up in the carpenter shop.
Don didn't enjoy his futile trip into town trying to get new hydraulic hoses for the tractor, who would have thunk it would be so difficult to find someone to make hoses? His afternoon turned out better as he was coerced into sharing his birthday cake with his fellow volunteers. Happy Birthday Don.
Herb enjoyed delivering the birthday cake and, later, some more philosophical discussions in the sun.
John B. came out to check on the computers/internet (yep, they are still on site and exhibit no axe marks where they may have been hacked into) and to help with the birthday well wishes.
Ivan and Hans made considerable progress in Dunvegan Shop. They lifted the beam in place and positioned the loose door track for the north bay overhead door. The door track still needs securing to the west wall and permanently on the beam, but it was a good days work. Working on 16 foot high scaffolding for the day is enough to test anyone's constitution. But they both ate their fair share of cake so all is well.
