We had a good day on June 30, with lots of visitors. Ken H. was engineer in training with Ted as mentor. Lucas and Hans were trainman and conductor respectively. On Monday Ted and Jim were in the cab as engineer and fireman. Dave S. was training as trainman and Stephen was conductor
We had a visit from John who is a part of the Toronto Constabulary - I needed the excuse to use the term considering my addiction to Murdoch Mysteries on TV. John had a cab ride in 9000. He would volunteer but the commute is too far!
Carey made significant donations again - pictures and paintings. Thanks Carey.
Gloria and Cathy staffed the gift shop on Saturday, Gloria and John were rained out on Sunday and Gloria and Carol were on duty on Monday. Great customer service folks....thank you
Niale created some safety signs and did some lettering on the Wash Car.
Safety is a major issue for us -- some visitors are not aware of the nature of train operation and that the train cannot be stopped within a few feet.
Volunteer lunch was served and enjoyed by all, especially the cakes!
