Today Aaron Masse, President of ON-TRACK, operated a Cat Loader and moved about 12 bundles of ties from the parking lot to the "Field of Dreams". He also moved some rail that was behind Peavey. That cleans up an area which we can now use for the Family Car and the minirail.
Aaron is very inspiring and supportive of what we do. I have had a long friendship with his dad, Ken who has been a great help to us over the years. Ken was there today for a few minutes.
With the ties moved comes the opportunity to restore and level the parking lot.
Barry and Niale have installed a couple of gateposts at the entrance of the sidewalk to the station. The effect is very professional!!
The rain over the last couple of weeks has made the grass really grow. We lost two weeks of CSVs so Barry has cut the grass and trimmed many areas. Congrats Barry!
Sales in the Gift Shop have been brisk. New stock arrived today in readiness for this weekend and in anticipation of the visitors on the Labour Day Weekend.
