We celebrate Victoria Day ,Canada Day, Heritage Day and Labour Day with train rides. In addition, Family Day, Father's Day and Grandfather's Day showcase those important relationships.
Self- guided tours are encouraged and are in three parts:
Maintenance of Way - track repair equipment
Work Train - sometimes known as the track gang fleet
Passenger Train - a display of several types of passenger equipment
Special Note:The museum grounds are being renovated to improve visitor experience. As a result the party car, story time and access to some displays have been removed from the tours.
CN Family Day - September 15, 2012 9000 will be moved down to Walker Yard to be put on display for CN employees and their families to see.
Military Appreciation Day - September 22, 2012 In recognition of the contribution that our military make to Canada, an invitation has been extended to troops and their families to attend the museum. Free admission and train rides will be offered.
